The rustic features of pine floors and ceilings have been retained
at The Shannon Cotttage. Guest Bedrooms are also furnished
in pine. Each has private facilities, which include toilets and
showers, television and coffee & tea making. Several rooms have
views of the River or the Bridge.
Breakfast is enjoyed in our Parlour Lounge which includes the Library
and is the oldest part of the house. We offer a selection for Breakfast,
which features Anne's famous home-baked soda bread and scones.
The Gardens at Shannon
Cottage are alongside the River Shannon, there are wonderful views
of the magnificent old stone bridge that gives O'Brien's Bridge it's melodic
name.
All
year round colour is a feature of the planting, with native and exotic
shrubs mixed with many aromatic plants, the terraces and patios provide
many options to enjoy the gardens and the views of the Bridge and River.
